DIG Field school

For five summers, I was a field instructor for the Discoveries in Geosciences (DIG) field school, a unique nonprofit professional development opportunity for K-12 STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) teachers to experience real field research with our research group in northeastern Montana.

My work with the DIG included leading groups of teachers through note taking and critical thinking exercises in the field, teaching about macro and microfossil collection techniques, and sharing my enthusiasm for paleontology. For more information, check out the DIG website, Facebook, and Twitter!
